Garden Park
Nice, cozy park perfect for one to get away with a beach right next door. The clean playground provides swings, slides, and climbing equipment for children and gorgeous Lake Michigan views.
Built-in grills and benches make for an excellent barbecue place, and the grassy area gives visitors plenty of space.

Hinman Park
Hinman Park is a small park down the street from Walgreens Pharmacy perfect for young kids. Bring your dog here to play and then venture to Vera Megowen Park, Baker Park, Kelly Park, and Thomas E Snyder Park nearby.

Kelly Park
Kelly Park, also known as Kelly tot lot, is a playground for younger children. It boasts an excellent selection of swings, with various seat options.
The playground area is padded, and there are small green spaces ideal for games of hide-and-seek. The giant sandbox is a hit among children, and local parents often provide toys to keep it well-stocked.
The park provides four benches and a picnic table for adults to relax while supervising the children. Kelly Park is connected to Baker Park, which offers amenities for older children, including more playgrounds and a small pavilion with toilets and a drinking fountain during the summer months.

Raymond Park
Raymond Park, also known as Triangle Park and Tunnel Slide Park, is a terrific place for toddlers and Pokémon enthusiasts. Ample green space allows everyone to spread out and enjoy a picnic or grass games.
Bring the kids here to burn energy before or after visiting Downtown Evanston. Watch out for the sand pit; while it’s amusing, it will sneak into your shoes and end up at your residence!

Reba Park
Reba Park is a small but well-organized park with plenty to do. Children can choose from original and newer play structures and enjoy a full-size basketball court.
Swings, slides, and climbing contraptions make for eventful play, while benches permit parents to rest their legs.

South Boulevard Park is right next to South Boulevard Beach. Parkgoers can dip their toes in the water, layout in the sand, and when they get too hot, hide from the sun in the ample shade provided by the trees of South Boulevard Park.

St. Paul Park is next to the Purple Line’s Main Street Station https://www.transitchicago.com/station/main/. With rental bikes and benches, you can hop off the train, wait for your friends, and explore Evanston on two wheels!

Thomas E Snyder Park
This park is ideal for children between 1 and 3 years old. The tot lot is almost fully fenced and features swings suitable for babies and older kids.
The park equipment is appropriately designed for this age group. The large grassy area is perfect for picnics or babies to have tummy time.

Vera Megowen Park
Vera Megowen Park is a tranquil park centered on the city block. Also known as Merry-go-round park, kids love it, but be warned: the merry-go-round requires an adult to operate it.
The park is relatively quiet during the day but fills up in the evenings. There are many slides and some swings, but not too much green space, so it isn’t recommended to bring your dog. The park is ideal for younger children and has a decent amount of Pokémon activity nearby.
